The southern part of Grande Comore Island has charming beaches, such as Chindini Beach, which is located near a small colorful town. The beach has beautiful scenery and soft sand in the central bathing area, with shallow waters and a smooth entrance, and it is surrounded by palm trees and stunning cliffs. Sea trips from the area offer the opportunity to observe marine life. You can also see whales and dolphins, which is a fantastic opportunity. Nearby Malé or Malé Badjini is the first town to be discovered on the island of Grande Comore. There are many historical sites in the town, including La Grande Mosquée.
