Rennie Lake is located in the upper area of Michigan just outside of Grand Traverse Bay, 21 km southeast of Traverse City. The lake is approximately 1.0 sq km, and 8.2 meters at its deepest point. Known for its clear waters and sandy beaches, Lake Rennie is a popular destination for swimming, boating and fishing. The lake is rich in fish species, including Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Crappie, making it a popular spot for anglers. The lake is surrounded by a number of residential properties, cottages and holiday homes, which make it a popular destination for tourists and a lovely home for locals. The lake is also the location of a public boat launch and a fishing pier.
