From the viewpoint you can see Ponta da Ferraria, the Mosteiros Islets, Lomba Grande and Lomba da Fonte and the village itself. The Mosteiros Islets are the exposed remnants of a submerged volcanic cone that has been severely eroded by the sea over the years.
